Privacy & Research Participation

How Dealer Performance Lab handles research submissions, operating-tool inputs, and commercial inquiries routed to American Mobility Developers.

Effective August 24, 2026

1. Who is responsible for this site

Dealer Performance Lab is a research and applied-tools initiative developed by American Mobility Developers (AMD). DPL research participation and AMD commercial implementation are separate paths. Asking a research question or submitting a field record does not enroll a dealership in AMD services.

2. What the site may collect

Forms may collect the information a participant chooses to provide, such as a private participant ID, role, rooftop alias, email address, operating observations, survey responses, or the subject of a commercial inquiry. The site and its service providers may also process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as browser, device, page, timestamp, and network information.

Do not submit customer or account data

Do not enter customer names, VINs, credit information, account credentials, DMS exports, deal jackets, or other sensitive customer or dealership-system data. DPL tools are designed for operating context and de-identified observations.

3. How submissions may be used

DPL may use research submissions to respond to the participant, improve questions and tools, identify exploratory themes, and develop de-identified or aggregate research. AMD may use information submitted through a clearly commercial path to respond to that inquiry and determine whether its services are relevant. DPL does not combine source populations into a universal dealer benchmark.

4. Confidentiality requests and publication

When a form offers a confidentiality request, selecting it asks DPL to restrict identifying information to the people reasonably needed to review the submission. A confidentiality request is not attorney-client privilege or a legal nondisclosure agreement. DPL does not intend to identify a dealership or participant in public research without permission.

5. Service providers

Web hosting, form processing, security, analytics, and communication providers may process limited information on DPL’s or AMD’s behalf to operate the site and respond to requests. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, rights, or comply with applicable legal process.

6. Retention and de-identification

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was provided, operational records, security, or applicable obligations. A participant may ask DPL to delete or correct identifying information. Once observations have been de-identified or incorporated into aggregate analysis, it may not be possible to remove them from completed work.

7. Participant choices

Research participation is voluntary. A participant may skip optional questions, decline follow-up contact, request confidentiality where offered, or ask to withdraw identifying information. Commercial outreach is not a condition of participating in DPL research.

8. Security and changes

Reasonable measures may be used to protect information, but no online system can guarantee complete security. This page may be updated as DPL’s tools and participation methods evolve; the effective date will identify the current version.

9. Contact

Use Ask the Lab and choose or enter “Privacy request” to ask about access, correction, deletion, confidentiality, or research participation. Include only enough information to locate the relevant submission.
